5 TENSES WE FREQUENTLY USE

1.       Simple present tense

 -kegiatan yang dilakukan sehari-hari atau sebuah rutinitas.

  Rumus :

(+)	S+V1(e/es)
(-)	S+do/does+not+V1
(?)	Do/does+S+V1?

            Example :

            (+) I takes a bath twice a day                         (+) She makes the cake

            (-) I dont take a bath twice a day                    (-) She doesn’t make the cake

            (?) do you take a bath twice a day ?               (?) does she make the cake?

2.       Simple past tense

 - Kalimat yang digunakan untuk masa lampau.

   Rumus :

(+)	S+V2
(-)	S+did+not+V1
(?)	Did+S+V1?

            Example :

            (+) I tried my best                                        (+)  We liked the beach so much                                              

            (-) I didn’t try my best                                  (-) We didn’t like the beach so much                      

            (?) did you try your best?                             (?) Did we like the beach so much?

3.       Past/Present continous tense

-Kejadian yang sedang berlangsung

 Rumus :

(-)	S+be+not+ing
(?)	Be+s+ing?

             In            = kota

On          = Tidak Spesifik/Jalan

At           = Spesifik/ Alamat lengkap

4.       Future present

-Kejadian yang belum terjadi, perencanaan,kejadian dimasa yang akan datang

5.       Present Perfect tense

-Kejadian yang sudah lewat atau terjadi dan masih jelas terlihat / terasa

 Rumus :                                                Has: He,she,it

                                                              Have: I,you,they,we
